Summer Schedule

We are blessed with a full year-round schedule of ministry events at Grace Baptist Church of Germantown. Our summer ministries offer opportunities to worship, study and fellowship in a more relaxed and easy-going atmosphere. Mark your calendars now, for these exciting events:
Early Morning Service
Begins the first Sunday in July and ends on the last Sunday in September from 7:30 to 9:00. Come in casual dress ready to join the singing, praising and growth in a less traditional style. |
Grace Day
Held on Saturday, June 9th. We celebrate Grace Day by extending an invitation to the community to fellowship (good food, information and entertainment) with us in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. |
Vacation Bible School
Will be offered on Monday through Friday June 25th—July 6th. Morning sessions will be held from 9:00 to noon & the evenings sessions we be held from 7:00 to 9:00. Discover life’s treasure in the word of God. |
Children's Retreat
Is Saturday, June 16th. All children (ages 5-12) are invited to a day apart for bible study, nature hikes, art & crafts, fun and discovery at Eastern University. |
Men’s Retreat
The men of Grace will travel to the Ace Conference Center for a time of growth, fellowship and recreation. This year’s Men’s Retreat will be held on Saturday, June 16th. |
Summer Day Camp
Begins on Monday, July 9th. Enroll your child in a Christian environment for an awesome experience in theatre, dance, music, computers, sports & much more. The camp closes on Friday, August 3rd. |
Church Picnic
The annual church picnic held on Saturday, July 14th at Briarwood camp. There will be fun and fellowship for the whole family. Enjoy the buffet (picnic food) and/or bring your own picnic basket. The picnic buffet and transportation are included in the registration cost. Lots of food, indoor and outdoor games, sports activities and swimming are the order of the day. |
Bible Study Week
In addition to the Sunday School and Adult Bible Study Classes which continue throughout the year we have a special week of Bible Study in August. Join Rev. Edward Carwheel, missionary with Philadelphia BCM International, for exercise in Bible exploration and application. |
Important Reminders
Van Service is only provided on the 2nd & 4th Sunday during the months of July & August .
Children’s Church is in session for the months of June & August, but not for the month of July.
Nursery is closed for the month of August.
Sunday School & Teacher’s Training begins at 9:30 during the months of July, August & September. |
